The 30-year-old was picked by Peshawar Zalmi in the Diamond category during the tenth edition of PSL Player Draft, held in Lahore on January 13.

However, ahead of the IPL 2025, the pacer pulled out of PSL and joined Mumbai Indians. The decision to pull out so close to the tournament has not gone down well with the PCB and they have banned Bosch from entering the next season's draft.

In a press release by PCB, Bosch also apologised for his withdrawal from PSL. “I deeply regret my decision to withdraw from the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) and offer my sincere apologies to the people of Pakistan, the fans of Peshawar Zalmi and the wider cricket community," he said.

He added: “The HBL PSL is a prestigious tournament and I fully understand the disappointment caused by my actions. To the loyal fans of Peshawar Zalmi, I am truly sorry for letting you down. I take full responsibility for my actions and accept the consequences, including the penalty fine and the one-year ban from the HBL PSL. This has been a hard lesson, but I am committed to learning from this experience and hope to return to the HBL PSL in the future with renewed dedication and the trust of the fans.”

Bosch recently played a key role for MI's sister franchise MI Cape Town in their title-winning run in the SA20 2025. The right-arm pacer picked up 11 wickets in the campaign.

Apart from SA20, Bosch also has a little experience of playing in the Caribbean Premier League.

A right-arm fast bowler and right-handed lower order batter, Bosch has played 86 T20s and taken 59 wickets. His highest T20 score is of 81.
