India and Pakistan are set to clash in a high-octane contest in the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai on 23 February but Netflix has surprised cricket fans with the announcement of the release of a brand new docu-series, "The Greatest Rivalry: India vs Pakistan" exploring the cricket battles between the two nations. Cricket is considered a religion in both countries and the release of a documentary series just before the Champions Trophy 2025, co-hosted by Pakistan and the UAE, will increase the hype of the highly anticipated clash.
"The Greatest Rivalry: India vs Pakistan" is a docu-series which will be released by Netflix on February 7 and is the first Netflix Original to be shot in Pakistan.

The documentary will showcase legendary cricketers like Virender Sehwag, Sourav Ganguly, Sunil Gavaskar, and Shoaib Akhtar, revealing untold stories and previously unheard insights from both sides of the rivalry.
The India vs Pakistan fixture will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium after India declined to travel to Pakistan due to security concerns and Dubai was chosen as their neutral venue for all the matches.
Shoaib Akhtar, Pakistan's legendary cricketer, will reveal unknown secrets from one of the most iconic matches played between the two teams. He shared the news of the release date of the docu-series with Netflix on social media.
