The preparations are underway in full swing before the grand opening ceremony, and a number of interesting storylines are going around on social media. Below are the top developments and IPL trends that are going viral ahead of the season opener at Eden Gardens on Saturday.
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) mentor Zaheer Khan fully expects the crowd at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow to cheer in yellow ahead of their clash against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on 14 April. He attributed this to the country-wide love and support for CSK라이브 바카라 MS Dhoni.
“As long as MS Dhoni is around, yellow will dominate all the stadiums,” Zaheer said. “It should be like that. He is loved by everyone. As long as he is playing, it will be like that.”
Meanwhile, the former pacer will focus on LSG라이브 바카라 season-opener against Delhi Capitals (DC) on 24 March.
Former Australia captain Adam Gilchrist dashed the hopes of many RCB fans by saying that the Bengaluru-based franchise are poised to finish bottom of the table in IPL 2025. Gilchrist made the comments in a podcast with former England skipper Michael Vaughan, saying that RCB has “a fair chance” of finishing last due to the fact that “there라이브 바카라 just too many Englishmen in the squad”.
Even though the comment was made in banter, Gilchrist does have a history of killing RCB라이브 바카라 title hopes, defeating them in the IPL 2009 final to win his first title. Meanwhile, the Royal Challengers, and all the English players in their team, will be preparing for their match against KKR.
While the IPL 2025 opening ceremony is planned to be a grand occasion befitting the tournament, its star quotient is set to go higher as superstar Shah Rukh Khan will make an appearance at the event ahead of the KKR vs RCB match.
The actor, who arrived in Kolkata on Friday, is scheduled to welcome the cricketers to the opening ceremony as well as host an extended interaction session with both the captains ahead of the opening match. Interestingly, the captains are to come to the stage on a float, which will be a sight to watch.
Ahead of the grand clash between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI), both teams’ ex-skippers were seen on social media sharing a lighthearted moment of banter. In a viral video clip, Rohit Sharma can be seen in what looks like a panel discussion alongside MS Dhoni and former Indian captain Kapil Dev.
In the video, Rohit sarcastically asks the guests, “Selfie chahiye ya autograph?” (Do you want a selfie or an autograph?) Both Dhoni and Kapil Dev feigned shock, before breaking into smiles.
