The defending champions KKR have named Ajinkya Rahane as their new captain for the upcoming season. Shreyas Iyer, who led the side last year, is going to captain the Punjab Kings in this edition.
KKR have also added Dwayne Bravo as their new mentor who will be working alongside the coach Chandrakant Pandit. They have managed to retain the core of the KKR side like Sunil Narine, Andre Russell and Rinku Singh.
RCB team management announced Rajat Patidar as their new captain before the start of the season. RCB have retained ace batter Virat Kohli and seamer Yash Dayal along with the captain.
Jitesh Sharma, Phil Salt, Liam Livingstone and Krunal Pandya are newly added players in the franchise. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Tim David are also expected to play a crucial role this season for RCB.
