IPL 2025: Unfair To Single Out Individuals After LSG's Defeat To Mumbai Indians, Says Rishabh Pant

LSG suffered a third defeat in their past four matches, as the Indians earned a convincing 54-run victory at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Ryan Rickelton (58 off 32) and Suryakumar Yadav (54 off 28) helped the Indians to 215-7, with Player of the Match Will Jacks also adding 29 off 21.

LSG toiled to 161 all out with skipper Pant making just four off two balls, while Jasprit Bumrah (4-22), Trent Boult (3-20), and Jacks (2-18) all contributed with ball in hand.

The India batsman has not been in the best of form in recent matches, and that continued against Mumbai.

Pant has just 110 runs from nine innings in this IPL season for an LSG side who are now sixth in the IPL standings.
