In the final ball of the 12th over, Prince bowled an overpitched full toss outside off stump towards Nitish Kumar Reddy, and the Indian all-rounder hit it hard towards the left of the pacer. Prince attempted to grab the ball, but it went through his grip and ricocheted towards the non-strikers' end where Heinrich Klaasen was outside his crease.
Despite taking the crucial wicket of the South African star, Prince ended up hurting his hand in the process and spent more than a few minutes grimacing with pain on the pitch.
However, thankfully for LSG fans and Rishabh Pant, the bowler was fit to continue, and went on to complete his full quota of four overs.
