Joseph Sunny seals it for Hyderabad. Mohammedan were trying hard to get the equaliser and that gives the hosts a chance. Allan Paulista gives a good pass to Sunny following a counter attack and Sunny finishes it well. The game too is all set to go in the favour of Hyderabad.

Despite more time on the ball and several attacks, Mohammedan SC have been thoroughly defeated by Hyderabad FC. Allan Paulista opened the scoring in the 24th minute before Ramhlunchhunga doubled Hyderabad FC's lead via a free kick at the stroke of half-time. Mohammedan continued the attacks and dominated possession even more in the second half and finally Makan Chothe found a hole in the Hyderabad defence in the 78th minute. Some tense football was witnessed in the final few minutes with Mohammedan threatening to equalise. However, Joseph Sunny sealed the game in Hyderabad's favour with an injury time goal.
Fourth win of the season for Hyderabad FC and they remain at the second last spot. Mohammedan SC are stuck at the bottom and this becomes their third straight loss.
