Jannik Sinner made a stellar return to the ATP circuit at the Italian Open 2025, securing a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Mariano Navone in just under an hour and 40 minutes after serving a 3-month doping ban. The home hero, draped in an all-black Nike kit, broke early in both sets and sealed the win with a commanding ace, extending his winning streak to 22 consecutive matches. Sinner will next face Jesper de Jong as he looks to carry his fine form into the next round and prepare for the upcoming Roland Garros.
