Assam Child Marriages: Distressed Women Hold Their Babies Close, Request Police To Release Their Husbands

In a massive crackdown on child marriage in Assam, the police have arrested over 2,000 people including Hindu and Muslim priests who conduct weddings which, the authorities said, will be declared illegal.
