The authorities have traced and razed the houses of the five accused who were suspected of being involved in Pahalgam terror attack On April 22. The houses of three suspected terrorists were razed by the authorities in the Kashmir Valley on Friday after two other houses were destroyed on Thursday night.
It is part of a crackdown on terrorism days after the henious Pahalgam attack in which 26 people were killed.
Hilal Ahmad Thokar, 22, lost his parents when he was young and was brought up by his uncle Ali Mohammad Hokar. He was about to get married on 10 May and had even taken a loan for his wedding. Now his entire house has been razed and a lot of his belongings destroyed. Thokar works as a labourer and earns Rs. 10,000 a month.
Several other houses were affected and suffered damages. The locals are complaining that it's unfair for them to lose their houses, properties and all their belongings.
