Marking the first anniversary of the attack on a gurudwara in Afghanistan that killed 25 Afghan Sikhs, United Sikhs, a United Nations-affiliated NGO on Monday paid tributes to those who died in the attack and honoured their surviving families.

We바카라 웹사이트have helped them get passports and also provided them바카라 웹사이트free medical assistance through the Delhi government.바카라 웹사이트The next step is to seek assistance from the United Nations High Commissioner for바카라 웹사이트refugees, the process for바카라 웹사이트which is under way,” he added.

“That one incident changed our lives. While we had바카라 웹사이트shops and homes there, we바카라 웹사이트had to leave everything behind. Now, I work here for Rs 8000 and my younger brother바카라 웹사이트does a menial job earning Rs바카라 웹사이트7000 a month. Lack of documentation and difficulty in speaking Hindi also works바카라 웹사이트against us. We used to speak바카라 웹사이트Pashto or Punjabi in Afghanistan. People find it difficult바카라 웹사이트to understand my Punjabi바카라 웹사이트dialect here," added Chaibul.바카라 웹사이트
Chaibul has been receiving aid from United Sikhs.
39-year-old Surbeer Singh of Ghajini, Afghanistan, who was a widely-respected religious leader in Afghanistan, also fled to India. Recalling the attack Singh says, “I cannot get out of바카라 웹사이트my mind the image of the바카라 웹사이트three-year-old girl who was바카라 웹사이트killed in the massacre. There바카라 웹사이트were children, elderly people바카라 웹사이트and women in the Gurdwara바카라 웹사이트that day. The attack left바카라 웹사이트people in shock. While we never바카라 웹사이트feared anything earlier,바카라 웹사이트this incident changed that and we started looking at바카라 웹사이트other options.”
