Batting first, the Kings posted a solid total of 181/5, thanks to Martin Guptill's 45 off 35 balls and Basir Ahamad's unbeaten 68 off 44 balls who was well supported by Rajesh Pulami, who scored 33 off 20 balls.

Chitwan Rhinos managed only 130/6 in their chase of 182 runs, with Amar Routela top-scoring with 42 runs off 29 balls.

Despite good starts from Santosh Karki (28) and Ravi Bopara (20), they fell short of the target badly.

The Rhinos’ batting efforts were hindered by regular wickets as Karnali Yaks’ bowlers, particularly Lamichhane (2/28), played key role in restricting them.

This marked Biratnagar Kings' second win of the season, boosting their hopes for the playoffs as they moved to fifth place in the table with four points from six matches. Meanwhile, Chitwan Rhinos, with 6 points, remain in fourth place.
