The live telecast of the Gujarat Giants Vs UP Warriorz, WPL 2025 Match 3 will be available on the Sports 18 HD/SD channel in India.

The toughest twenty will kick off with the defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) hosting the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata on March 22, 2025. The first of the 12 double-headers day see Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) face Rajasthan Royals (RR) in an afternoon game in Hyderabad, and will be followed by a two five-time IPL champions – Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) battling it out at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

We are almost underway at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. The officials and players take the field and we are moments away from the start.

The UP Warriorz are off and so is Kiran Navgire. Ten runs from the first over and it is a positive, positive start. Anything short and wide, and Kiran Navgire has pounced on it. Positive so far.

Well, well, well. After a good start, a few bad shots has put the UP Warriorz on the backfoot, and have lost two quick wickets. Uma Chetry and Deepti Sharma will have to slowly rebuild. They will now look to not lose any more wickets in the powerplay.

And that's the powerplay done and dusted. The Gujarat Giants will be the happier unit after two wickets but the UP Warriorz are slowly rebuilding. The Indian recruits will need to put their hand up for UPW, especially in the middle overs.

The rebuild is slowly turning into a good partnership for the UP Warriorz. Uma Chetry is playing a beautiful, composed knock, supporting her skipper. The Giants have a few headaches. The Warriorz are 64 for the loss of two after nine.

A sudden change of events and the Gujarat Giants are in complete control of the match after losing McGrarth and Harris. Trouble, trouble and Priya Mishra is over the moon. Brilliant spin bowling. The Warriorz will again have to rebuild.

The UP Warriorz have reached the 100-run mark but have lost their skipper Deepti Sharma. Alana King and Sehrawat will need to do the picking up and get them to a decent total.

The UP Warriorz have finished with 143 for the loss of six in 20 overs, and have a total to defend, especially with Alana King, Sophie Ecclestone, and Deepti Sharma. However, the Gujarat Giants will be the happier unit after the first 20 overs, despite a few missed chances.

And we are underway for the second time for the evening. Grace Harris starts strikes early with the new ball as Beth Mooney is sent back, while Laura Wolvaardt is joined by Dayalan Hemalatha. Top start for the Warriorz.

Just when there was pressure mounting, Gardner has started to do Gardner things. Looking to play some break-free, fluent cricket. However, Goud has her WPL career off to a decent start, looking to bowl straight, full and fast, bending her back.

Laura Wolvaardt joins the party with Gardner and has taken all the pressure after those two early wickets. The Giants are back in this and are in control of the game now. The Warriorz will need to pick a few wickets.

Sophie Ecclestone is at it again, and this time it is the much important wicket of Laura Wolvaardt. The game swings again, and it could go anywhere. Ashleigh Gardner will be crucial for the Giants.

Tahlia McGrath has struck and it is the dangerous Ashleigh Gardner that has to make the walk back. The Giants are now 86 for four in 12 overs. They need 58 from eight overs, and will now pin all their hopes on Deol and Dottin.

This is now getting easier for the Giants. Harleen has played a composed knock, while Dottin has pressed the attacking pedal. This should be a cakewalk from here, especially with six wickets in hand.

Less than run a ball now, 13 from 18. Gardner is happy from the dugout, and as she should. Deandra Dottin is batting like a dream. The power she possesses is unbelievable. Great connection.

And that's the game. Gujarat Giants have done it with six wickets in hand, and 12 balls to spare, registering their first win of the season. All smiles around the Gujarat camp.

"I think the target was a bit par. We should have stepped up more as a batting unit, needed a better partnership in the middle overs. We have great bowling strength, as a unit they have done well despite dew being there. I felt we couldn’t execute a few balls today as per our fields, we need to work on those things."

"Very pleased, we weren't very far away in the other game. To play this brand of cricket and winning today's game at home feels special. Our bowlers did a great job and someone like Priya Mishra taking 3 wickets in just her second WPL game was brilliant."

"The stumps hopefully, I feel I probably missed it in a couple of games. If you miss your lengths and lines here, the ball travels. Individual assessment, everyone has their own method to do batting. You see Dottin clears her front leg and whacks sixes and someone like Deol is methodical in her approach. We have a deep batting lineup and hopefully you will see the best of it still."
