After Hardik Pandya snatched victory from Gujarat's jaws against Baroda in their tournament opener, the Axar Patel-led side has stringed together four straight victories.
With wins against Tripura, Saurashtra, Tamil Nadu and Sikkim in their last four games, Gujarat are looking to take the top spot in the group that will help them earn a direct quarter-final qualification. They are currently second in the group with only Saurashtra ahead of them and that too only on net run rate.
A strong performance against Uttarakhand will do their chances of advancing a world of good.
Uttarakhand shocked Karnataka in their tournament opener but have found it tough to replicate the same against other tougher opponents in the group. After the Karnataka win, they lost to Baroda before winning against Sikkim. But back-to-back losses against Saurashtra and Tripura have ended the qualification chances of the Akash Madhwal-led side.
