The inaugural edition of the ambitious cricket league kicked off on Saturday with Janakpur Bolts beating Biratnagar Kings by eight wickets in the opener. The eight-team T20 cricket league will have 32 matches, including the play-offs. The final is scheduled for December 21.
Unlike the tournament opener between Biratnagar Kings and Janakpur Bolts, the Kathmandu Gurkhas vs Chitwan Rhinos match is expected to be a tight match.
The Gurkhas, representing Kathmandu, have a strong batting line-up with Gerhard Erasmus, Michael Levitt, Bhim Sharki, and Dan Douthwaite, among many others, in the line-up.
