Put into bat first, Bahrain could not get going and kept losing wickets throughout their innings. Poor batting meant Bahrain were bowled out for just 98 in 16.3 overs. Muhammad Jabir, Ikramullah Khan and Muhammad Asim picked up two wickets each for Qatar in a clinical performance.
Opener Saqlian Arshad's 31 put Qatar on the right track to chase down the total. Muhammad Asim, who had already taken two wickets for only one run, also scored an unbeaten 36 to guide Qatar to victory. Qatar got to the target in 17 overs to win the match by four wickets.
Qatar finished the tournament with four losses and a win while Bahrain just got two wins and lost three matches.
