Saurashtra defeated Assam by an innings and 144 runs in their Round 7 match of the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 Elite Group D. Saurashtra batted first and made 474 runs in their first innings. They restricted Assam to just 164 runs in the first innings and forced a follow-on. They bowled them out for just 166 runs in the second innings to win the match comfortably on Day 3.

Gujarat defeated Himachal Pradesh by nine wickets in their Round 7 match of the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 Elite Group B in Ahmedabad on Saturday. Himachal Pradesh set a modest target of 145 runs in their second innings which Gujarat cased down easily with nine wickets to spare. Jaymeet Patel hit fifty in both innings and was named Player of the Match.

Jammu and Kashmir batted on Day 3 and set a 365-run target for Baroda. After restricting Baroda to 166 runs in their first innings, they made 284 runs in the second innings. Kanhaiya Wadhawan scored yet another half-century as Shubham Khajuriya missed a well-deserved ton.

Day 3 ended with the stumps in the Jammu And Kashmir vs Baroda match being played in Ahmedabad. Chasing the target of 365 runs, Baroda has lost two early wickets as they still need 307 runs to win the match. They are batting on 58/2 after 16 overs.
