And then the chase began, James Vince's sensational century propelled Sydney Sixers to a dominant victory, as they effortlessly chased down 195 with 11 balls to spare, overpowering the struggling Melbourne Stars in one of the most commanding BBL chases ever.

Vince put on a stunning display of power and skill, hitting 101 off 58 balls at the SCG. His performance sealed a memorable win for the Sydney Sixers, edging out Ben Duckett in a thrilling battle between the two Brits. He also became player of the match for this performance.

The impressive run chase was the eighth highest in the 14-year history of the BBL and the largest ever at the SCG.

It left the Melbourne Stars still winless after four matches, with their hopes of reaching the finals fading fast, while the Sixers maintained their undefeated record after three games.
