Earlier, centuries from Sean Williams (154), ZIM skipper Craig Ervine (104) and Brian Bennett (110) helped Zimbabwe register a massive 586 in their first innings of the 1st Test against Afghanistan at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo on Friday, December 27.

This is the first Boxing Day Test match in Zimbabwe in 28 years. For Afghanistan, AM Ghazanfar was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/127 as the Afghan Atlans had no answer to the Zimbabwe batting on the second day.

Zimbabwe skipper Irvine had won the toss and decided to bat first.
