Dori attempted a right-footed shot from very close range to the bottom right corner to put Odisha FC back into the game. Assisted by Diego Mauricio, the shot have taken the visitors back into the game with more than 15 minutes left in the game.

An own goal from Mohammad Nawaz in the last minute of the game helped Odisha FC draw the match. The match saw a thrilling end to the game where Odisha were trailing by one goal in the stoppage time but Nawaz came out of nowhere to force a draw in the game. It was a Chennaiyin's game and they saw the game going away from them in the last 18 minutes.
