The Mumbai Indians are set to face Delhi Capitals in match 2 of Women's Premier League 2025 at the Kotambi Stadium on Saturday (February 15). The MI squad had a rigorous practice session in Vadodara ahead of their season opener. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side had lost to eventual winners Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Eliminator, last season and their clash with DC is a reprise of the 2023 WPL final. Apart from a strong leader in Harmanpreet, MI have strong figures from other international sides such as Nat Sciver-Brunt (England), Hayley Matthews (West Indies), Amelia Kerr (New Zealand), as well as South Africans Nadine de Klerk, Shabnim Ismail and Chloe Tryon in their arsenal.
