NBA 2024-25 Playoffs: Cleveland Cavaliers Beat Miami Heat To Seal Series Sweep

Cleveland advanced to the second Round with the most lopsided series victory in NBA playoff history. Donovan Mitchell scored 22 points, and De’Andre Hunter contributed 19 points as the Cavaliers led by as much as 60 points before defeating the Miami Heat 138-83 on Monday night, completing a four-game sweep of their Eastern Conference first-round series. Ty Jerome added 18 points, Evan Mobley scored 17 points, and Jarrett Allen had 14 points, along with 12 rebounds and six steals for the Cavaliers. Cleveland won the series by a total margin of 122 points, surpassing the previous record for series margin set by Denver over New Orleans in 2009 by one point.
