Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning will premiere at Cannes 2025. It will be screened out of competition on May 14.
Hollywood star Tom Cruise is all set to be back at the Cannes Film Festival with the premiere of his upcoming film, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, reported Variety. Ahead of its release on May 23, the 8th instalment of the long-running spy franchise, will be screened out of competition on May 14. Tom and writer- director Christopher McQuarrie, will be in attendance for the screening.
The Cannes press release states, “In Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Tom Cruise라이브 바카라 Ethan Hunt, who he has portrayed since the beginning of the franchise in 1996, and his IMF team ask you to trust them one last time. After almost three decades of thrills, stunts and intrigue, The Final Reckoning delivers an unforgettable cinematic experience.”
It will be Cruise's third appearance at the Cannes. He first appeared at the festival for Ron Howard라이브 바카라 Far and Away in 1992 and the second was in 2022 for Top Gun: Maverick. During his last Cannes appearance, Tom Cruise was awarded with the honorary Palme d’Or. He also gave a masterclass to the attendees.
The trailer for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning was unveiled on Monday, April 7, and Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt returns to embark on yet another high-octane ride, with some more death-defying stunts. Hunt is back with his battle against the powerful AI, called the 'Entity'. He requests his team to “trust him one last time."

Apart from Cruise, the other cast includes Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, Esai Morales, Shea Wigham, Greg Tarzan Davis, and Pom Klementieff , among others.
Hannah Waddingham, Katy O’Brian, Tramell Tillman, Nick Offerman, Lucy Tulugarjuk, and Stephen Oyoung are the newcomers to the franchise.
MI:8 is all set to release theatrically on May 21 in France and May 23 in the U.S.
