The election process for the next Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president is expected to pick up pace after the current Parliament session ends on April 4, according to a report by NDTV.

The BJP is likely to announce its new national president by the third week of April.

Citing BJP's sources, NDTV reported that the announcement of BJP state presidents for most states, including Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal, is expected to be finalised within the next week.

After the completion of organisational elections in 13 states, the names of the 13 presidents have been announced.

Reports suggest that the organisational elections have been completed in 13 states, and their presidents have also been announced.

After the state presidents of the remaining 19 states are declared, the party will move forward with the process of selecting its next national president.

There is a provision in the Bharatiya Janata Party constitution that organisational elections in at least half of the state units must be completed before starting the process of electing the national president.
