The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted more rainfall in Delhi. The prediction says, Bangalore will also witness rainfall today.
IMD has issued a ‘yellow alert’ in Mumbai and several other districts in Maharashtra, like Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg. The residents are advised to take precautions before going outside.

Though no sign of relief can be seen in Mumbai as IMD has issued ‘yellow alert’ in Mumbai and some other districts of Maharashtra. The weather in Kolkata will remain partly cloudy today.
The Regional Weather Forecasting Agency (RWFA) has predicted cloudy weather with the minimum temperature between 23 to 25 degree celsius and the maximum temperature of 36 to 38 degree celsius. The sky will remain partly cloudy today and some parts of Delhi will witness rain with thunderstorms.
Yesterday the city experienced rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds after which Delhi people got relief from the scorching heat. Other states like Bihar, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Karnataka also witnessed heavy rainfall yesterday. In Bihar, 25 people got killed due to lightning strikes yesterday.
