The English pacer conceded 76 runs without taking any wickets in four overs, as the SRH batters brought down an onslaught in the first innings on their way to a mammoth 286-run total.
Unfortunately for Archer, his bowling figure of 0/76 became the most expensive in IPL history, overtaking the previous infamous record of 0/73 set by Gujarat Titan라이브 바카라 Mohit Sharma against Delhi Capitals in 2024.
Archer was one of the marquee signings for the Royals, having been picked up for INR 12.5 crore in the mega auctions. But his debut for his new team was a nightmare of epic proportions. He gave away 23 runs in his very first over, and ended his spell having conceded 10 fours and four sixes.
Fascinatingly, only one of the 24 regulation balls that he bowled resulted in a dot, with Travis Head and Ishan Kishan both starring with the bat for the home team.
