Sunrisers Hyderabad openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head opened the batting with Fazalhaq Farooqi opening the bowling for Rajasthan Royals. Sharma hit a couple of fours to collect 10 runs from the first over.

Maheesh Theekshana was called to bowl the second over of the match and he started with a no ball then a wide delivery. Head hit a six and four to collect 14 runs from his over. Then Abhishek hit a hat-trick of fours to start Farooqi's over. Head finished the over with a six.

Maheesh Theekshana came to bowl his second over on trot and got rid of the destructive batter Abhishek Sharma on the first delivery. Yashasvi Jaiswal took a fine catch at the point. Ishan Kishan is the new batter at the crease. He hit a couple of boundaries to start his inning.

Jofra Archer was introduced into the attack in the fifth over and Travis Head welcomed him with a couple of boundaries. Then the next one was a dot ball but after that Head hit three more boundaries to collect 23 runs from the over. Ishan Kishan started the next over with a couple of more fours.

Sandeep Sharma came to bowl his second over and conceded just eoight runs. Then Tushar Deshpande was introduced into the attack and he got rid of the set batter Travis Head. Nitish Kumar Reddy is the new batter at the crease.

Jofra Archer was called back into the attack in the 11th over and Nitish Kumar Reddy hit him a couple of boundaries. Tushar Deshpande was brought back into the attack and he conceded nine deliveries. A referral for a wide was taken and it was changed to a legal delivery.

Ishan Kishan hit back-to-back sixes on the first two deliveries of Jofra Archer to complete his half-century. He finished the over with three sixes in that. The projected score is 263 runs for SRH.

Sanju Samson came to bat as Rajasthan Royals used the impact player rule on him. Yashasvi Jaiswal came to open with him. Samson hit a six and couple of fours to collect 16 runs from the first over.

Simarjeet Singh came to bowl the second over in the match and he started well with a seam delivery. He bowled a 143kph delivery which went for a byes boundary. He dismissed Jaiswal on the next delivery and Riyan Parag came to bat at number three. Parag hit him a four then lost his wicket on the next delivery.

Sanju Samson and Nitish Rana went for runs despite losing two early wickets and collect 10 runs from Shami's over and 15 runs from Simarjeet's over. But Shami came to bowl his next over and got rid of Rana on the first delivery of the over. Dhruv Jurel came to bat at number five.

Pat Cummins came to bowl the last over of powerplay and Dhruv Jurel welcomed him with four boundaries. He leaked 20 runs in his first over. Abhishek Sharma came to bowl the next over and managed to bowl well.

Adam Zampa was introduced into the attack in the eighth over and Sanju Samson hit a couple of boundaries to him. Abhishek Sharma came to bowl the next over and Dhruv Jurel hit him for a couple of boundaries. Jurel hit Harshal Patel for a six and Samson completed his half-century.

Dhruv Jurel has changed gears after completing his half-century. Jurel completed his half-century in just 28 balls and targeted Simarjeet Singh to hit three sixes and collect 26 runs from his third over. The duo is looing good and is taking their team near the target. Samson lost his wicket in the 14th over after making 66 runs. Harshal Patel took his wicket.

Shimron Hetmyer joined Dhruv Jurel after the dismissal of Sanju Samson but Jurel also lost his wicket soon and Shubham Dubey replaced him at the crease. He went after every bowler from SRH camp and hit multiple sixes. He targeted Pat Cummins and hit three sixes in his over.

It was tough, just like I expected. Credit to SRH but we could have executed better. Will have a sit down and chat about today. (On choosing to bowl first) I feel collectively we took that decision, it was the right decision but it was about executing better. You’d mind if 280 is on the board, in the toss I said 200 was what I expected but 220-240 would have been good to take. Quite a few positives, the way Dhruv and Sanju batted was brilliant. And then Hettie and Shivam as well later on. Tushar bowled really well, Sandy paaji did well. A win or a less, we take the learnings and then we forget.

I wouldn't be wanting to bowl to our boys. Unbelievable. That was scary. You know it's going to be tough (for the bowlers) but when you got such a big score, one over can win you. We have been able to keep the core of the side together. Ishan today was incredible. Just trying to play with freedom. The preparation has been amazing, our coaches have been amazing. The boys created a blueprint for how to play for the rest of the year.

The nervousness was there. Looking at the team, Pat and the coach gave me a lot of confidence. The environment is so calm. I just enjoyed my time in the middle. I had a lot of time, I was practising a lot, worked hard on my batting. The preparation was good. You can see Abhishek Sharma and Head going in and playing that sort of a game. You get the confidence. Pat - he knows what's there for the team. We have to enjoy whatever your game-play is. You have to plan accordingly, don't be afraid of getting out.
