In the first innings at Eden, Pandey became the first batter in IPL 2025 to face 20 deliveries without hitting a boundary. After dealing in singles and doubles in the first 20 balls, the batter hit a maximum off his 22nd delivery.

He could add just one more boundary off Noor Ahmad, ending the innings with 36 runs off 28 balls, with a strike rate of 129.

The batter, making just his second IPL appearance this season after his 19-run cameo in the eight-wicket defeat to Mumbai Indians (MI) in Match 12, was promoted to the playing XI in place of Venkatesh Iyer.

Iyer, who was purchased for a team-record INR 23.75 crore in the mega-auction, had managed just 142 runs in 11 innings in IPL 18. As a result, captain Ajinkya Rahane opted for Manish Pandey, but the 35-year-old could just manage a cautious innings against CSK라이브 바카라 bowling attack.

After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, KKR had a poor start to the innings, losing both openers cheaply. Rahane stabilised the innings with some incredible shot-playing, but lost his wicket at 48 after an ambitious reverse sweep attempt.

Pandey and Ramandeep Singh remained till the end, and KKR crawled to a total of 179/6 in their quota of 20 overs. Noor Ahmad was the star for CSK, with the Afghan spinner taking four wickets for 31 runs in his four overs.

The match is a must-win one for the defending champions, as they need to win all of their remaining games to remain in contention for the IPL 2025 playoff.
