Due to thunderstorms and a slight drizzle, the second innings of the match were halted for some time. But the match was resumed after a little break.

Mumbai Indians were asked to bat first at their home ground against Gujarat Titans, and they managed to post 155 runs on the board. Will Jacks made a half-century, whereas Corbin Bosch (27) and Suryakumar Yadav (35) were only other two batters to score in two digits.

Sai Kishore took two wickets, whereas Mohammed Siraj, Arshad Khan, Prasidh Krishna, Rashid Khan and Gerald Coetzee took one wicket each.

MI players were happy when the players were asked to leave the field due to drizzle and heavy winds. But the match resumed soon, and now more than five overs are completed in the second innings.

So, even if the match is not completed for any reason, the result will come. Duckworth-Lewis method has come into play, and now both teams are trying to come on top on the DLS method.

Things were going in MI's favour, but Hardik Pandya came to bowl the eighth over and leaked 18 runs. After 11 overs, GT were ahead by two runs in the DLS.

The game stopped again after the 14th over when a slight drizzle forced players to move inside their dugouts. GT were ahead in the DLS method by seven runs.

Now, in this case, if the game is not resumed, GT will be declared the winner. And if the match is completed with full overs, GT will have to make the remaining 49 runs in the last six overs to win this match.
