Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor's film has finally got a title. Their romantic drama is titled, Loveyapa. On December 26, Loveyapa's release date was announced along with a new poster. Junaid and Khushi's upcoming film will release on February 7, 2025. It is helmed by Secret Superstar and Laal Singh Chaddha fame director Advait Chandan. Loveyapa marks Khushi and Junaid's first film together.
Taking to Instagram, Phantom shared the poster of Loveyapa that read: “In theatres 7th Feb, 2025. Loveyapa Khushi Kapoor, Junaid Khan. Directed by Advait Chandan." It was captioned as, “Situationship? Relationship? Love ka syapa? ya Loveyapa? See you in the theatres on the 7th of Feb 2025."
As per reports, Loveyapa is a remake of the 2022 Tamil blockbuster Love Today.
Earlier, a report in Hindustan Times stated, “The first leg of the shoot wrapped up in Mumbai, and now the duo is filming in the Capital. The team started shooting here three-four days ago, and the schedule will go on for another 10-12 days. While the supporting cast has been joining the shoot as and when needed, Junaid and Khushi are going to be here for the entire schedule."
Junaid Khan made his acting debut with Maharaja based on the Maharaja Libel Trial Case of 1862. He played journalist and social reformer, Karsandas Mulji. Khushi Kapoor, on the other hand, made her debut with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies.
