Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju (born October 23, 1979), popularly known as Prabhas, is an Indian actor primarily working in Telugu cinema. He is among the highest-paid actors in India and has been featured in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list since 2015. Nicknamed the "Rebel Star" by the media, Prabhas has acted in over 20 films and earned several awards, including seven Filmfare nominations, a Nandi Award, and a SIIMA Award.
Prabhas began his acting journey with the drama Eeswar (2002) and achieved his first major success with the action-romance Varsham (2004). He went on to deliver several hits, such as Chatrapathi (2005), Bujjigadu (2008), Billa (2009), Darling (2010), Mr. Perfect (2011), and Mirchi (2013), for which he won the Nandi Award for Best Actor.
