Star singer and “Fauda” actor Idan Amedi was seriously injured while fighting as an Israel Defense Forces reservist in Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip, reports said, adding that he on Monday was airlifted to a hospital where he was sedated and is under treatment.

The 35-year-old actor-singer was born and raised in Jerusalem, to Kurdish immigrants.
