28-year-old Kevin Patel was shot late on Wednesday in Chicago라이브 바카라 Lincoln Park neighborhood and later succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, CBS News reported.

Chicago Police responded to the call that a person was shot in the 800 block of West Lill Avenue, where they found the victim on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound in the chest.

He was taken to the Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was treated but was later pronounced dead. He was identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's office late on Thursday.

The reason for the attack is still unknown and investigations are underway. Witnesses said that they saw a man and the women flee the scene on foot, but no arrests have been made yet.

Garrett Moores attempted to help Patel in his last moments and made the distress call. He ran out to help Patel when he heard the gunshot from his home around 9:20 PM. He put pressure on the wound, and talked to him in his last moments, comforting him.

"We were just talking to him, telling him, you know, what the Fire Department was telling us - you know, breathe in slowly, try to take long, deep breaths - and he would kind of look at us, and you could tell he was changing his breathing, so he was responsive, which was encouraging," Moores said.

He also gave a message to Patel라이브 바카라 family, saying, "I hope you know your son was not alone in these moments, and you know, this is a really good community of people that were trying to help in any way they could."

Police inspected the neighbourhood after Patel was taken to the hospital but did not find any evidence.
