In Pictures: Thousands Of Fishes Die As Severe Drought Hits Amazon Rainforest

As a severe drought has hit Brazil's Amazon rainforest and its adjacent areas, masses of fishes have been killed due to the low river levels and hotter waters. According to the port of Manaus, which monitors water levels, the river stood at 16.7 metres (55 feet) on Tuesday, around six metres (20 feet) below the same day last year.
