ABVP national secretary Hushiyar Singh Meena said the protest was against paper leaks and for demanding justice for the widows of three CRPF personnel killed in the 2019 Pulwama terror attack.

The widows started their protest on February 28 and also launched an indefinite hunger, demanding a change in rules so that their relatives and not just children can get government jobs on compassionate grounds.
