The Delhi Police have files an FIR against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for using images of PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah in social media posts.
The FIR was filed at the North Avenue police station on Monday after Brijesh Rai, office secretary of the Dalit unit of BJP, filed a complaint, The Indian Express reported.
The complaint pointed to various tweets that appeared on the AAP's official handle on X in recent days carrying the images of PM Modi and Shah. Further investigations are underway.
Bharatiya Janata Party and Aam Admi Party are engaged in an intense campaign for the Assembly polls using social media and AI technology.
The Delhi assembly polls will be held in a single phase on February 5 and the counting of votes will take place on February 8.
