Police booked Haryana's Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Mohanlal Badoli and a singer based on a woman's allegation of being gang-raped at a hotel in Himachal Pradesh's Kasauli.
Commenting on the matter,police said a case has been registered against Badoli and Rocky under sections 376 D (gang rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) based on the woman's complaint.
Superintendent of Police (Solan), Gaurav Singh told Indian Express, “Yes, the FIR has been registered at Kasauli police station. The statements of some of the suspects have already been recorded, while a few are yet to be recorded in the coming days. The investigation is going on,” he said.
What did the woman say?
According to the FIR registered on December 13, the woman claimed that she along with two of her friends had gone on a trip to Himachal Pradesh.
In Kasauli, they were reportedly staying in a hotel where they met the two accused on July 3, 2023, who introduced themselves as Rocky Mittal alias Jai Bhagwan and Mohanlal Badoli, a political leader.
According to the FIR, the woman said Jai Bhagwan offered her a role in his album while Badoli claimed to get her a government job due to his connections.
The woman also mentioned that she was forced to consume alcohol before the duo allegedly molested and gang-raped her. It has been told that they also clicked pictures and made videos of the act and threatened to kill the victim if she disclosed the incident to anyone.
“Despite our refusal, they forcibly made us consume alcohol. After that, they started harassing me. I objected, after which they threatened (friend) with dire consequences and made her sit on a side and threatened me that he would get me killed if I did not adhere to his demands. After that, both of them took turns to rape me. They also clicked my nude pictures and a video”, Indian Express reported quoting the victim.
The complainant further added, “They threatened to make me disappear if I disclosed the matter to the police or anybody. We felt ashamed… About two months ago, they called us to Panchkula and threatened to implicate us in a false criminal case. After that, we managed to find Rocky Mittal라이브 바카라 address in Panchkula and Badoli라이브 바카라 address in Sonipat and their mobile phone numbers. I am requesting that justice should be given to me, and stern action should be taken against them. Also, my nude pictures and videos should be deleted from their mobile phone numbers…”
The woman also alleged that two months ago, she was called to Rocky's house in Panchkula where the accused threatened to implicate her in a false case, police said.
According to a report by Hindustan Times, Haryana BJP chief Mohanlal Badoli rejected the rape allegation against him, terming it a “political conspiracy” while Rocky Mittal did not respond to calls or messages.
