Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday reviewed projects costing more than Rs 1.21 lakh crore in a meeting of the 42nd edition of Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation, or PRAGATI, – a digital platform aimed at bringing e-transparency.

The PM Office said among the 12 projects reviewed, seven were from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, two from the Ministry of Railways, and one project each from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the Ministry of Steel, and the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.

"These projects have a cumulative cost of over Rs 1,21,300 crore and relate to 10 states, including Chhattisgarh, 바카라 웹사이트Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and Haryana and 2 UTs Jammu and Kashmir, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli," the PMO in a statement said.

As he reviewed the projects, Modi asked all stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues and adhere to the timeline for the projects' completion, keeping in view their significance for the public.

He also reviewed the 'PM Svanidhi scheme' and urged the state chief secretaries to identify and cover all eligible street vendors in urban areas, especially in tier II and tier III cities, under the scheme.

He also instructed them to start a drive to encourage digital transactions among street vendors and cover all family members of SVANIdhi beneficiaries under other government schemes through the 'SVANidhi se Samriddhi' campaign.

Modi congratulated the chief secretaries for having organised successful G20 meetings and asked them to promote tourism and export.

During PRAGATI meetings, 340 projects having a total cost of Rs 17.05 lakh crore have been reviewed till now, the statement said.
