UP: Biker Killed In Accident After Bolero Drags Bike For 2 Kms In Sambhal | Video

A biker lost his life after a vehicle hit his two-wheeler and dragged him along with the bike for at least two kilometers in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal district. The incident took place in Sadar Kotwali area which was captured in a video by a passenger in a car behind them.

The video showed a Bolero car with an alleged Bharatiya Janata Party sticker dragging a bike on the road, causing sparks.

A Free Press Journal report said that the police have noted the car's registration number and are trying to find the driver.

The police reportedly said that the deceased has been identified as Sukhbir who lived in the Shahzadkhera village in Moradabad's Mainather police station area. He was returning home from Basla village on Sunday when the accident took place.

A speeding Bolero hit his bike near Wazidpuram on the Asmoli bypass and dragged him with the motorcycle for one kilometer.

After that the victim fell into the road and the driver kept dragging the bike for another kilometer.

The victim was taken to a district hospital with severe injuries but he could not survive the treatment and passed away on Monday morning, as per reports.

An Inspect named Anuj Tomar has assured the family of taking proper action against the accused as the police is trying to track the driver.
