J&K: Army Soldier Killed In Encounter With Militants In Sopore

An overnight enoucnter was held in Jammu and Kahsmir's Sopore and an Indian Army soldier was killed in it, the army officials informed media on Monday.

The officials told PTI that the deceased soldier was injured in the exchange of fire with militants in a hideout at Zaloora Gujjarpati in Sopore police district and later he succumbed to his injuries when he was being evacuated from the scene of the gunbattle.
