The Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25 gets underway from December 21, 2024 onwards and run till January 18, 2025. (More Cricket News)

The tournament is organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and is an annual ODI domestic competition that involves state teams from the Ranji Trophy plates.

Bengal will buoyed by the fact that Mohammed Shami has not flown to Australia but will take part in the VHT as the veteran pacer continues to recover from his long-term injury.

Group E of the Vijay Hazare Trophy includes Bengal alongside Bihar, Kerala, Tripura, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and Baroda. All of Bengal's group stage matches will be played in Hyderabad.

Delhi are yet to announce their squad for the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25.
