Tahir bowls to Stubbs, and it's a beautiful six. Stubbs gets down low and smashes the 90kph fullish googly straight over the bowler's head. The ball comes off the meat of the bat, racing over the boundary, an effortless hit.

Just when it looked like Marco Jansen might build some momentum, Pathirana strikes. A well-disguised slower ball at 126kph, an off-cutter on length, and Jansen hits it in the air. Faf du Plessis is quick to react, taking a sharp catch. Jansen departs for 22 off 18 balls, with 3 fours.

Sunrisers Eastern Cape were dismissed for just 118 after opting to bat first. Lutho Sipamla led the charge for Joburg Super Kings, striking early to remove three of SEC's top four batters.

The visitors were in deep trouble at 17/4 by the fourth over, with all four wickets falling without any runs on the board. Conway continues to impress with his cover drives. That shot was simply imperious. A fuller-length delivery, wide outside off, and Conway expertly timed the drive, sending it powerfully between cover and mid-off. Most of his boundaries today have come from those stylish cover drives.

JSK will be simply delighted with their win today at home. Not only did they win the game, but they sent a loud message. Conway was out of this world. He started timidly but then settled and took control of the chase. 

It was probably too early for Faf du Plessis as he tried to up the ante, but Wihan Lubbe came in and provided Conway with excellent support. By the 14th over, it was almost over because the chasers never really made a dent with the bowlers in place; instead, none of them created much trouble.
