The 'Chill Guy' meme was the brainchild of artist Philip Banks and shows a cool dog donning a grey sweater, rolled-up blue jeans and red sneakers, with a quirky smirk. His hands (paws) are rested inside the jeans and moreover, portrays a sort of 'chill vibe'.
Banks first introduced this character on Instagram on October 4, 2023. Giving more in-depth about this character, he wrote, "My new character. His whole idea is he's a chill guy that lowkey doesn't give a (expletive).”
Now, cricket fans have related this meme to Virat Kohli's latest picture from Australia. The photo shows Kohli donning a white Team India t-shirt and a pair of trousers and his hands vested inside it.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Thursday hosted a reception for the travelling Indian cricket team ahead of its two-day pink-ball practice match against PM's XI from November 30.
The internet has instantly caught that resemblance and sparked off a humour fest.
