Oman won the first T20I by three wickets and Netherlands won the second match by 50 runs at the same venue.

Michael Levitt and Max O'Dowd opened the batting for the visitors and the Muzahir Raza started the Oman bowling attack with the first over. Shakeel Ahmed got rid of Levitt in the second over.

But O'Dowd and Teja Nidamanuru added 59 runs for the third wicket and built a partnership. Sufyan Mehmood bowled Nidamanuru in the ninth over. Captain Scott Edwards played a small 10-run inning.

Noah Croes made a quick 12-ball 15 to help Netherlands reach near the 150-run mark as they could only make 147 after 20 overs.

In response, Oman batters had no answers to Klye Klein's bowling as the destructive right-arm medium took four wickets in his first three overs and left Holland rattling inside the powerplay.

Sufyan Mehmood and Mehran Khan added some useful runs but that was not enough. Coming to bat at no. 10, Shakeel Ahmed made 45 runs in 33 balls which improved Oman's score a bit otherwise the difference would have been bigger.

Klein was given the Player of the Match award for his match-winning bowling performance.
