A disciplined bowling performance, followed by responsible knocks from Mitchell van Buuren and captain David Miller took Paarl Royals to a comfortable six-wicket win against Joburg Super Kings in the 15th match of SA20 2025 at Boland Park in Paarl on Monday, January 20. Parsimonious bowling from Joe Root, who is known for his batting usually, and two wickets for 22 runs from Bjorn Fortuin helped the hosts limit the Super Kings to 146 for six in 20 overs. In response, the Royals rode Buuren (44 off 45) and Miller (40 not out off 32)'s knocks to reach the target in 19.1 overs.

Earlier, Paarl Royals won the toss and elected to field first against Joburg Super Kings.
