And we are underway at Boland Park. Bjorn Fortuin has the new ball for the Royals, whereas Rassie van der Dussen and Azmatullah Omarzai open for MICT. Should be a cracking contest this, on a good batting wicket.

The MI Cape Town openers are off to a great, composed start, with both batters taking the aggressive approach. While van der Dussen has scored 17 from 14, Omarzai has 13 from 10. The Royals will be desperately looking for a breakthrough.

The Royals have struck and have started to slowly pile on the pressure. MICT have not run away, having just scored 54 in the first seven overs. However, with 13 overs to go, they will eye a small rebuild and take the attack to the opposition.

Rassie van der Dussen and Reeza Hendricks have set up a beautiful platform for the MI Cape Town to all full throttle, having scored 90 in 12 overs, losing just one wicket. However, with both batters set, could they reach the 170-mark? For the Royals, Galiem is the lone wicket-taker.

MI Cape Town have lost three quick wickets with Mujeeb and Root providing crucial breakthroughs. However, Rassie (60*) continues to play the anchor role and has taken the visitors to 124 for the loss of four in 17 overs.

MI Cape Town end with 158 for the loss of four wickets after 20 overs. Rassie van der Dussen switched gears from an anchor to finisher and has notched up an unbeaten 91 in just 64 deliveries and has helped the travellers reach a respectable total.

And we are underway with the Royals chase at Boland Park. Azmatullah Omarzai, who opened with van der Dussen, starts proceedings with the new ball, while Joe Root and Lhuan-dre Pretorius open the batting for the hosts.

The Royals are racing along now. Lhuan-dre Pretorius has taken off and is offering the crowd some batting experience, while his partner Joe Root has started off in composed fashion. The hosts have scored 47 in five overs, and need 112 more in 90 balls.

Despiet losing Joe Root for just 15, the Paarl Royals have scored 76/1 in 10 overs and are on track to get home with ease. Mitchell Van Buuren has joined Pretorius in the middle and are ticking the scoreboard towards MI Cape Town's total. In the process, Pretorius has reached his fifty.

MI Cape Town finally strike again as Rashid Khan picks up Van Buuren. But will it prove too little too late? Paarl Royals skipper David Miller has joined Pretorious and they need 53 from 36 balls. Fasten your seatbelts, this one could go either way.

Is there a final twist in this tale? Lhuan-dre Pretorius is run-out for 83 as MI Cape Town celebrate. The experienced Dinesh Karthik is with David Miller and the required run-rate does not look super threatening. All to play for in the last three overs, as Trent Boult starts the 18th.

And the Paarl Royals get their revenge at home after losing to MI Cape Town at Newlands. It was the 18-year-old Lhuan-dre Pretorius' show as he scripted a fine chase, putting on a batting masterclass, before Miller got drove them home with an over to spare.
