Head coach Gautam Gambhir emphasized the significance of big names participating in domestic matches, stating, "I would always like everyone to play domestic cricket. This is how much importance domestic cricket needs to be given."
Additionally, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has called up Yashasvi Jaiswal to report to the domestic team. Jaiswal is expected to train with the Mumbai squad at the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) on Wednesday.
