The tall, lanky Marco Jansen strikes in the very first over, getting rid of Abdullah Shafique with one that goes with the angle to take his outside edge. Heinrich Klaasen does the rest behind the stumps, and Pakistan lose their first wicket with five runs on the board.

Playing his first ODI for South Africa, seamer Kwena Maphaka gets rid of Saim Ayub for 25. Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan has now joined Babar Azam at the crease, with the run rate hovering around five an over. The two senior pros will look to rebuild before accelerating, one would imagine.

Babar Azam (73 off 95) and Pak skipper Mohammad Rizwan (80 off 82) have both played sparkling knocks, and their 113-run partnership has put the visitors on a good position to launch in the final 10 overs. Debutant Maphaka, meanwhile, has claimed his second wicket, catching Rizwan off his own bowling. Salman Agha and Kamran Ghulam currently at the crease.

Kamran Ghulam has played a blinder here. The batting all-rounder has struck 63 off 32 balls to power Pakistan past 300 in the 48th over. The Men In Green eventually end up with 329 runs on the board, which is a challenging total at the least. Debutant Kwena Maphaka finishes with figures of four for 72 off his 10 overs, while Marco Jansen snares three. Can the Proteas chase it down and level the series? We shall find out soon. Proteas skipper Temba Bavuma and Tony de Zorzi are at the crease to begin the hosts' pursuit of a 330-run target. Star Pakistan pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi sends down the first over, conceding five runs, including a sizzling first-ball boundary by Bavuma. Naseem Shah sharing the new ball with Afridi.

The in-form Rassie van der Dussen has got off to a brisk start, smacking 16 runs off the first 12 balls he's faced. The right-hander is at the crease after Naseem Shah had Proteas skipper Temba Bavuma caught by Haris Rauf. Tony de Zorzi, meanwhile is well set at 32 not out off 35 balls.

RSA 67-1 in 10 overs

While 67 runs came off the first 10 overs, only 39 have come in the next 10, with two wickets to boot. And Pakistan top it off with the prized scalp of Aiden Markram, as Abrar Ahmed traps him in front. Proteas now four down, with the asking rate climbing over 7.5 RPO. The Men In Green would fancy their chances from here on, though the dangerous Heinrich Klaasen is still at the crease, and the equally dangerous David Miller has joined him.

RSA 113/4 in 21.2 overs

Just when the game looked like slipping from the hosts' grasp, their trusted aggressors Heinrich Klaasen and David Miller have joined forces to revive them. The duo is batting prudently, without taking as many risks as is their wont. The asking rate is now close to 8.5 RPO, but as long as even one of these two is out there, South Africa will continue to believe.

Shaheen Shah Afridi sends back dangerman David Miller for 29 to swing the game in Pakistan's favour again. He then cleans up Marco Jansen with a breathtaking yorker, and then traps Andile Phehlukwayo in front, leveraging DRS to get his third wicket. But Klaasen is still alive and kicking. He is into his 90s and single-handedly keeping the Proteas in the game with a stunning assault. This could be a fascinating final few overs. South Africa need 88 runs from 51 balls with three wickets in hand.

RSA 242/7 in 41.3 overs

It's all over! Naseem Shah sees the back of Heinrich Klaasen, who falls just three short of what would have been a well-deserved hundred. Klaasen is the last wicket to fall and Pakistan register a thumping 81-run win to clinch the series 2-0. This is the Men In Green's fifth straight bilateral series victory. While captain Mohammad Rizwan (80 off 82) and Kamran Ghulam (63 off 32) set it up for the visitors with the bat, it was fast bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi (4-47) and Naseem Shah (3-37) who finished the job clinically with the ball.

Though the series is already decided in Pakistan's favour, the hosts will be desperate to avoid a 0-3 whitewash at home. The third and final ODI will be played in Johannesburg on Sunday, December 22.
