Sri Lanka Vs Australia 2nd Test Day 1 In Pics: SL Reach 229/9 At Stumps

Nathan Lyon and Mitchell Starc picked three wickets each to reduce Sri Lanka to 229 for the loss of nine wickets on the opening day of the second Test match between the two teams in Galle. Australian bowlers were disciplined throughout the day and none of the Sri Lankan batters barring Kusal Mendis and Dinesh Chandimal could move past the half-century mark. Chandimal scored 74 while Mendis will resume from 59 on Day 2 of the Test. Playing his final and 100th Test, Dimuth Karunaratne scored 36 before Lyon shattered his stumps.
