After six matches in the inaugural edition of GSL, Victoria lead the table with four points, on Net Run Rate, ahead of Caribbean Premier League 2024 runners-up Guyana Amazon Warriors Caribbean.
The Corey Anderson-led Victoria have won both their matches so far, against Amazon Warriors (by 4 wickets) and Bangladesh Premier League side Rangpur Riders (by 10 wickets).
A win against the Qalandars in their penultimate league game will make Victoria firm favourites to top the table and make the final, scheduled for December 7.
Lahore Qalandars, meanwhile, will need to win both their remaining matches to stand a chance of finishing top two. The Carlos Brathwaite & Co. lost to Guyana Amazon Warriors by six wickets in their opener. But a thrilling four-run win against Hampshire Hawks kept the Pakistan Super League team alive in the competition.

Cricket West Indies' invitational five-team event kick-started on November 26 with a clash between Lahore Qalandars and Guyana Amazon Warriors which the latter won by six wickets. Unmistakably, there's no Indian Premier League team, so thus SA20 (South Africa).
Interestingly though the trophy was unveiled by Guyana's President Dr. Mohammad Irfan Ali and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the latter's visit to the South American country. The trophy itself is reportedly inspired by Guyana's 276 waterfalls (discovered so far).
All the matches, 11 including the final, are being played at Providence Stadium, Guyana.
